I was brought in on a freelance assignment to design a logo to be used for a join effort between the Boy Scouts of America and the CDC for a program on youth protection. Here are two of the final logos selected in both color and black & white. I did all the work from conceptualization to design.

USAC Traxxas 600cc Sprint Series Logo

While working at Traxxas, a remote control model manufacturer, I was asked to create a logo for the USAC 600cc Sprint Car Series. Traxxas was to be the title sponsor and this was the final logo to be used starting in the 2013 season. I worked on this logo from conceptualization to final output.

Northwestern State University Spirit of Northwestern Marching Band 100-year Anniversary Logo

I was personally asked by my alma mater to design the branding for the 100th anniversary of the Spirit of Northwestern Demon Marching Band. The branding encompassed logo, t-shirt, letterhead and envelope design. Honored as I was, I did the work pro-bono. All the work from conceptualization to design was done by me.

Blü Baüls Brewing Logo

Although as crass as the name is, this is my beer brand. In my spare time, my partner and I brew and keg Blü Baüls© Beer., which is a märzen style beer that gravitates in at about 9% abv. We have a full branding package even though we brew on a small scale.

Boy Scouts of America Sea Scouts Billboards

While on a freelance assignment with the Boy Scouts of America, I was asked to design a billboard that was to be used at the national headquarters in Irving, Texas. The pieces are for a division of the BSA called the Sea Scouts. The year 2012 was their 100- year anniversary. Here we see the final two designs; the first one was purely nostalgic, and the other one compared the past to the present. Both emphasized the importance the Sea Scouts played in supporting the U.S. military.

While on a temporary contract at a Dallas-based advertising agency, I created coupons for the Taco Bueno account. These coupons were one of the projects I was tasked with. Using their existing branding, I created these from concept to

production.

Boy Scouts of America Jamboree Newsletters

Another project while assignment with the Boy Scouts of America, was a series of newsletters for their upcoming national jamboree. Geared toward the scouts themselves, it was to help them get ready and be in good physical condition because the jamboree is a physically demanding event.

University of Miami Frost School of Music Ad

I created an ad for the university to place in Billboard magazine marketing their online music business degree program. I was involved from conceptual design to publishing.

While on a freelance assignment with the Boy Scouts of America, I designed a new field guide used by all scouts. Their current field book was last designed in the late 1990s and the style reflected the age. This was my take on a style to be used.

At Traxxas, I created a two-page advertising spread that appeared in another industry periodical. This time for a new line of helicopter products. This one was another new take using the Traxxas style of over-the-top graphics with an updated look.

Zerona Laser Invitations

Here are more examples of personalized invitations sent to doctors by Zerona Laser. These invitations went to doctors

as an attempt to get them to listen to a sales presentation. This piece utilized variable data to personalize it to the

individual doctor.

This direct mail letter for Mobiloil Federal Credit Union® uses variable data to tailor the letter to its recipients. Part of a multi-channel campaign that included an email blast, this letter promoted the client’s auto financing program.
